A couple of weeks ago, I bought an app(lication) called ‘Lyrica 2’ from the Mac App Store. It was (only) ? 0,79 what did was find the lyrics to any song in your iTunes library and it allowed you to add those to iTunes with the click of a button.
When I reinstalled my Macbook last weekend, the first apps I installed were the ones I had gotten from the official Mac App Store. To my surprise, Lyrica was no longer listed under my purchased items. Weird. So I tried finding it in the app store, no success either. After some googling, I found that a link to a contact form for Mac app store costumer service. I filled out the form and stated my ‘problem’. Within 48 hours I got a response, saying that the ? 0,79 would be refunded to me but in no way did it mention why the app was removed or when/if it would be back. So I replied with the following:
Thank for your feedback. Is there a way for me to have access to the application in question again? I really liked it….
Shortly there after, I received the following reply:
Thank you for your kind words. I’m so glad to hear that you have provided the feedback to iTunes Store from the provided link. I would like to inform you that once the App “Lyrica 2” is released in iTunes Store you will be able to purchase it. Jan, nothing makes Apple happier than to hear that we have pleased our customers. I wish you the best and hope that you continue to enjoy the iTunes Store. Thank you for your interest in the iTunes Store. Apple appreciates your loyalty. Have a nice day!
I know I probably shouldn’t have bothered even asking, but this non-answer is kinda stupid…
