Now
I’m writing this from a coffee bar of Somerset House in central London. I hadn’t taken any time off yet this year and when Eurostar announced their sale mid April, I grabbed a ticket for a short city getaway.

The following chapters or headings aren't fixed - they simply reflect what is on my mind right now.
Inspired by Derek Sivers now page, here’s what I am doing right now (last update October 2025):(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)

Tech
I've been getting more and more into AT Protocol, which you may or may not know as the thing powering bsky.com. I added standard.site support to this site through a plugin I created for Craft CMS and have a shortlist of a couple of other apps I'd like to build on top of the protocol.
Work
We’ve had lots of turn-over on our team this year, which has had a pretty heavy impact on my day to day - and thus on my stress levels. Things should be settling in though so hoping for more stability by the end of summer.
I've been at this job/company for 13 years now - which is áges in our sector - and for the first time on a long time I'm thinking about what I want role I want to in the future - at this company or somewhere else. Do I commit to the current UX & Business Analyses role or do I pivot back to development. Lots to think about.
I'm working on 2 larger projects, 1 where we integrate an extra brand into an existing site. In the other one we’re handing a complex multi-part migration.
